The Perryton City Council officially adopted a building code ordinance, and heard an update on the Murphy Park rebuild and the unsafe building process at its meeting Tuesday evening.
The council began the meeting with the resignation of councilman Shae Cunningham, who has served for several years. He has moved out of the city limits and is no longer eligible to serve.
