RANGER BAND EARNS EXCELLENT RATINGS— The Pride of Perryton Ranger Band competed to the Region 1 UIL Evaluations. The band received unanimous Excellent ratings from all three judges after performing a challenging show. The band is directed by Tony Gonzalez, Austin Zimmerman, and Arleen Silva.
The Rangers traveled to Borger Friday, and improved their district record to 2-1, with a 35-26 victory over the Bulldogs.
That win clarified the playoff picture, with Perryton, Seminole, West Plains and Levelland in, and Borger out. This Friday’s contest with Seminole, the game with West Plains and Borger, will determine the playoff seeding.
