QUILTS OF VALOR PRESENTATIONS— The Friendship Quilt Guild presented 16 Quilts of Honor on Oct. 20. The quilts were given in two groups. The Friendship Quilt Guild presented 16 Quilts of Honor to military veterans on Oct. 20 at Community Worship Center.
The guild became involved with Quilts of Valor in 2005, making quilts and giving them to other groups for distribution. The guild began presenting quilts locally in 2014. The guild, including this year, has presented 220 quilts locally over the last nine years.
