This year’s wheat harvest in Ochiltree County brought in just over a million bushels – about half of what was planted.
According to Scott Strawn, Ochiltree County Extension agent, wheat fields in the county brought in an estimated 1.125 million bushels, an estimated average of 15 bushels to the acre.
