The Perryton City Council and the Perryton Community Development Corporation board held a joint meeting Wednesday afternoon to hire a new combined assistant city manager and CDC director.
After a little over an hour in executive session, the city council, on the recommendation of City Manager David Landis and the CDC board, appointed Colby Waters of Canadian to the position.
