Julia Mendez has been named the Young Careerist of the Month by the Panhandle Professional Women’s Club.
She is the assistant chief appraiser of the Ochiltree County Appraisal District.
Mendez said the qualifications required for her profession include being a Registered Professional Appraiser (RPA) and a Registered Tax Assessor/Collector (RTA).
