Christmas is only days away, and many businesses, organizations, and governmental offices are planning their days off for the holiday season.
Frank Phillips College Allen Campus is closed for their holiday break and will remain closed until Jan. 6, 2021.
Perryton Independent School District is closed all this week through Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. Classes will start again for students on Jan. 5.
Perry Memorial Library, the Senior Citizen Center, and the Lobo Trading Post at Wolf Creek Park will also be closed all this week.
The Texas Department of Public Safety office in Perryton will be closed Wednesday through Friday.
The Perryton Herald and the Ochiltree County Appraisal District will close at noon on Wednesday and will remain closed Thursday and Friday.
The Ochiltree County Courthouse, Museum of the Plains, Ochiltree County Expo Center, Farm Service Agency, the Natural Resource Conservation Service, the Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce, and Game On Graphics will be closed for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Perryton City Hall will be closed for Christmas Day only, as will the Perryton Post Office, Perryton Municipal Golf Course, Charlotte and Company, and Chihua’s.
FirstBank Southwest and First National Bank will close at noon on Christmas Eve and remain closed for Christmas Day.
Perryton National Bank and Interstate Bank will close at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve and remain closed for all of Christmas Day.
Gebo’s will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and remain closed on Christmas Day.
Wall’s Bargain Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and remain closed for Christmas Day.
Perryton Office Supply will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve, remain closed on Christmas Day, and open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Lowe’s Marketplace will be open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and United Supermarket will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Both grocery stores will be closed on Christmas Day.
Margarita’s will close at 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, remain closed on Christmas Day, and open at 7 a.m. on the day after Christmas.
The Smokehouse will close at 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve and stay closed for Christmas Day.
Bartlett’s Hardware will be closed Christmas Day as well as Saturday.
The Perryton Activity Center will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and from noon to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Imo’s will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Pak-a-Sak and Allsup’s will be open regular hours on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
