A new statue of Hank the Cowdog, Head of Ranch Security, was unveiled Thursday evening at the Museum of the Plains. John Erickson, author of the best-selling children’s book series, was on hand for the unveiling, along with his wife Kris. Over a hundred Ochiltree County residents turned out to honor Erickson and Hank. The statue was created by San Angelo sculptor Raul Ruiz.
