The second-place state ranked Ranger cross country team ran in the Canyon Invitational III on Saturday. It was the Rangers third time to run on the Canyon course, which is where the district meet will be held. Despite there being a race for 3A-4A schools, the Rangers were placed in the 5A-6A race. This race allowed the Rangers to compete against teams with much faster runners.
