A stolen car and a couple of burglaries were investigated by local law enforcement.
Wolf Creek Feeders, on FM 2711, reported that a welder had been stolen from the shop at the site. It was valued at $2,000.
Dennis Schaffer, 405 S. Eton, reported a 9 mm pistol had been stolen from the residence.
Miguel Boy Valenzuela, 317 S. Amherst, told police the front door of the residence, along with the one at 315 S. Amherst, were found open, after being locked. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Angel Rodriguez reported his iPhone 11 had been stolen while at a party on SE First. It was later found in the front yard.
Jennifer Murillo, 502 S. Drake, reported her Chevrolet Malibu had been stolen. It was allegedly taken to Pampa and stolen again. The vehicle has not been located.
Jose Urbina reported a check for around $480 had been cashed on his bank account, but he had not had checks for the account in several years. The account was closed and the money refunded.
In county jail activity:
Baldomero Torres, 32, was arrested on a second degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and on suspicion of being an illegal alien. Bond was set at $20,000 and he is being held for immigration officials.
Samantha Jo Williams, 27, was arrested on a warrant for a fourth degree felony charge of forgery of a financial instrument. She was released on $10,000 bond.
Misdemeanor arrests during the week included one person for public intoxication and one person for terroristic threat against a family/household member.
