  • PARADE CHAMP NON-PROFIT FLOAT– Perryton’s Wheatheart of the Nation Celebration parade brought thousands of viewers out to enjoy the show on Saturday, Aug. 24. The winner of the Non-Profit division of parade entries was the float for North Plains Electric Coop, featuring the mini bucket truck driven by Evie Peregrino, age 3.
