First rabies case found in town

United Way tops 28%

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2026 campaign continues to add donations, and is now at 28% of its $98,000 goal, with $27,553 in donations so far.Six businesses joined the 100% Companies list, meaning every employee contributed to United Way, bringing the total to seven.

During the annual awards ceremony for Ochiltree County 4-H at the Expo Center on Tuesday evening, awards were presented for Friends of 4-H for individuals and businesses that go above and beyond to support 4-H programs with donations of time and material resources.
Students participating in Ochiltree County 4-H’s Foods Project got together last Thursday to make elote, or Mexican street corn. Eight of the students taking part in the project will be traveling to District competition in Canyon on Oct. 27.
