JOHNSON SPEAKS A T L E A D E R S H I P PERRYTON SERIES — Kristen Johnson of Winston- Salem, North Carolina was the latest speaker in the Leadership Perryton series. She spoke on “Are You Available” at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus last Thursday evening. The seminar was sponsored by Interstate Bank. Perry Memorial Library celebrated its 100th birthday with an open house and reception on Nov. 9, including visits from a number of local authors. The authors at the reception included, from left, Diana Anderson, Cindy Escobar, Dr. Randy Skaggs, Gary Rinker, John Erickson, and Marlon Sparks.

Perryton High School’s annual Veterans Day program brought together students of all ages to honor local veterans. In addition to presentations recognizing every veteran attendee, there were also musical and poetry performances.
