STATE CHAMPS! The Ranger powerlifting team won the state 4A powerlifting championship, and also had a state individual champion, Johnny Becerril. The Ranger powerlifting team clinched the 4A state championship last week.
In addition, senior Johnny Becerril was the state champion for the third consecutive year. He set state records in squat, bench, deadlift and total. He was also awarded the best deadlifter on light platforms.
The Rangers also had two state runners up, junior Javier Martinez and sophomore Angel Flores.
