Ken Paxton was the big winner in the Republican primary runoff for U.S. Senator.
A total of 520 ballots were cast in Ochiltree County, 10% of the total voters. There were 508 votes in the Republican primary and 12 in the Democratic runoff.
Statewide, he received 885,949 votes, 64% to incumbent John Cornyn’s 501,725, or 36%.
