Wallace Dene Johnson, 92, of Booker, died Dec. 14, 2020 at Ochiltree General Hospital. Graveside services will be held Friday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Darrouzett Cemetery with Dwain Read officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Booker.

Rites held for Smith

Larry Don Smith, 70, on Perryton, died Dec. 10, 2020 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. Services were held Monday, Dec. 14, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. Burial followed at Ochiltree Cemetery.

Caroline Janzen Reimer, 91, died Dec. 14,2020 at Twin Oaks Manor in Booker. Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, at Crossroads Church in Balko, OK with Pastor James Epp officiating. Graveside services will follow at Balko Mennonite Cemetery.

Herman Gallegos

Herman Gallegos, 71, of Perryton passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020. A private family service is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 11, 2020. The funeral home will be open for viewing/visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, Dec 10, from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm.

Neva Marie Fry

Neva Marie (Dicus) Fry, a long time resident of Booker and member of the Booker Friends Church, passed from her life here on earth on Dec. 1, 2020. Neva was born Oct. 24, 1923 in Jefferson County, IN, to James Charles and Velma Blance (Flint) Dicus.

Hunt dies on Dec. 2

Aurora Hunt, 91, of Perryton, died Dec. 2, 2020. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. She was born June 15, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, and married Edward Hunt in June 1949.

Dustin Roy Meek, 21, of Perryton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 in Dalhart. He was born on April 6, 1999 to Roy Meek and Billie Sue Kelley in Perryton.
