Francisco “Pancho” Tarango, 87, of Perryton died May 21, 2021. Funeral services were held Monday, May 24, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Darryl Ammons, 81, of Hutchinson, KS, died May 3, 2021, at his home. He was born January 13, 1940, in Pampa to Carl and Bennie (Oliphant) Ammons. Darryl graduated from high school in Pampa in 1958, and went on to earn his associate’s degree at Decatur Baptist College.

Rites set for Walthall

George Walthall, 78, of Booker died April 30, 2021. Burial will be Friday, May 7, at 10 a.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. He was born Nov. 8, 1942 in Fort Worth, and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Cindy McLerran, 39, of Perryton, died April 28, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. She was born Oct. 19, 1981 in Amarillo, and was a life time resident of Perryton.

Velma LouiseBartel, 89 , of Washington, passed away on April 27, 2021. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington. A graveside service will be held on May 14, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Old Mennonite Church Cemetery on Bethel Rd.
