Baggett rites set

Sue Baggett, 69, longtime resident of Perryton, died Sept. 15, 2021. A graveside service will be held Monday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery with Dale Marchman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Paul Allen Pletcher, 94, of Pampa, entered into Glory with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021 in Pampa. Celebration services will be Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev.

Fleming rites held

Wayne Allen Fleming, Jr., 42, of Amarillo, formerly of Perryton, died Sept. 10, 2021. Services were held Monday, Sept. 13, at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton with Rev. Hiram Reyes officiating. Burial was in Ochiltree Cemetery.

Rites set for Weist

James Edward “Pete” Weist, 70, of Darrouzett died Sept. 11, 2021 in Perryton. Funeral and burial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. at Darrouzett Cemetery with Bishop Michael Girlinghouse officiating.

Joe Southerland

Foster “Joe” Southerland, 63, gained his golden hard hat on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021. He was born Feb.27, 1958, in Perryton,to Eldon and Vivian Southerland. Joe married Donna Harmon on Dec. 24, 1976.

Betty Anne Freeman

Betty Anne Freeman, 78, passed away Sept. 11, 2021 in Amarillo after a short illness. A memorial service to celebrate Betty Anne’s life will be held on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Perryton with Dr. Rev. Mert Cooper officiating.

Orville Lee Brummett

Orvil Lee Brummett, a longtime resident of Spearman, peacefully transitioned from this life to his eternal home on Sept. 10, 2021 at the age of 89. Orvil was born on May 30, 1932 in Perryton, to Harry Lee and Ada Belle States Brummett.

John Perkins

John Winston Perkins, 79, died on Tuesday Sept. 7, 2021 at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, KS. He was born on September 9, 1941 at Leon, OK the son of Roy J. and Agnes M. (Brueggemeyer) Perkins. He married Norma L. Weinett on June 18, 1961 at Booker.

Rites held for Loesch

David Wayne Loesch, 35, of Booker died Sept. 4, 2021. Service were held Friday, Sept. 10 at Booker Friends Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. He was born April 29, 1986 in Liberal, KS, and graduated from Booker High School.
