Overton rites set

Glynn Overton Robert “Glynn” Overton, 55, of Perryton, died Jan. 17, 2023. Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, with Marlon Sparks officiating. The family asks those attending to wear Dallas Cowboy or OU Sooners clothing.

Mildred Reynolds

Mildred Reynolds, 95, of Booker, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at 2 p.m.at Booker Friends Church with Darin Kearns and Wayne Anson officiating. Burial followed in Heart Cemetery in Booker.

Betty Hurter Glover

Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Hurter Glover, age 90, passed away on November 27, 2022. Betty was born October 25, 1932 in Beaver, OK to Carl and Maude Hurter. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1949 and married Gene Brothers in 1950. Together they had three children, Gayle, Linda, and Greg.

Halpain dies Jan. 5

Loretta Halpain Loretta Halpain, 89, of Perryton, died Jan. 5, 2023. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. She was born Oct. 3, 1933 in Follett, and married Edward Halpain on Aug. 6, 1950 in Perryton.

Ronald F. Mick

Ronald F. Mick, 79, of Perryton, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2022. Funeral services were held Mnday, Jan. 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Wes Stevens officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery.

John D. Seaman

John D. Seaman, 84, of Perryton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022 10:30 a.m. at the Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Stone dies Dec. 25

Kenny Stone Kenneth Maurice “Kenny” Stone, Jr., 64, died Dec. 25, 2022. He was born Dec. 7, 1958 in Perryton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Betty Stone; two sisters, Linda Rhodes and Debbie Standerfer; and one brother, Frankie Stone.

William Coleman Forehand, 62, of Perryton, died Jan. 2, 2023. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Wes Stevens officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

C.A. Clark, 80, of Perryton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 in Amarillo. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, with Pastor Terry Turner officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton.

Jerry Don Robertson
