Billie June (White) Chandler, 91, longtime Perryton, resident, passed away Dec. 30, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. June White was born Jan. 10, 1932 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Glenn and Ruth White. June married Coleman Chandler Sept. 15, 1951 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Julia “Judy” Steinberger, 79, of Perryton, passed away on Dec. 30, 2023 in Perryton. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa with Mike Nixon officiating. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan.

Patsy Ruth Carter Lamberson, 89, of Perryton, died Dec. 23, 2023 in Booker. Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, with Rev. Duce Cooper officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery.

Rites held for Peil

Patti Lee Clabaugh Peil, 69, of Darrouzett, died Dec. 24, 2023. A celebration of life was held Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Darrouzett Lutheran Church fellowship hall. She was born March 1, 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK, and graduated from Woodward High School in 1972.

Robert Willis Wright

Robert Willis Wright, 80, of Perryton, ran home to meet the Lord face to face on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023. Funeral services will be held Thursday Jan. 4, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Perryton, officiated by Brother Pat Ray. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery.

Gene Randall Barnes, 79, of Perryton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, in Amarillo. Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton. Burial was at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, in Quail.

Pete Moncayo

Jose Pedro “Pete” Moncayo, 85, of Del Rio, formerly of Perryton, died Dec. 21, 2023 in San Antonio. Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 27, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Booker with Deacon Sergio Estrada officiating. Burial was in Blue Mound Cemetery in Balko, OK.

Merrill Thomas Carter

Merrill Thomas Carter, 83, loving husband, grandfather, and friend, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023. Graveside services were held Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. Azleland Memorial Park Cemetery in Azle. Arrangements were under the direction of White’s Funeral Home in Azle.
