Alberto Gonzales
Alberto Gonzales, 79, of Booker, died Feb. 3, 2024.
Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 6, at First Baptist Church in Booker with Pastor Kevin Wauer officiating. Burial followed in Heart Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.
He was bornApril 3, 1944 in Rocksprings, and married Paula Fernandez on June 9, 1960 in Rocksprings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leandro and Maria (Franco) Gonzales; two sisters, Belia Ruiz and Sylvia Aguirre; one brother, Leondro Gonzales Jr., and great grandchildren, Jahnessa Juarez, Emily Hernandez, London Cortez, baby girl Mendoza and Isaac Mendoza.
He is survived by his wife, Paula, of the home; one son, Alberto Gonzales Jr. of Darrouzett; six daughters, Delma Sanchez and Lydia Ontiveros, both of Pampa, Norma Beltran of Tomball, Annaberta Guerrero of Garden City, KS, Graciela Perez of Dumas and Gloria Gonzalez of Booker; one brother, Richard Gonzales of Booker; three sisters, Marisela Gonzales of Booker, Mary Ramos and Elisa Garcia, both of Dalhart; 26 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; and six greatgreat- grandchildren.
