The City of Perryton’s sales tax payments for 2024 started on a down note so far.
The city received a payment of $248,411 for the month, down around 5.7% from January 2023.
Most of the cities around the area did see increases for the month.
Amarillo’s payment of $8.6 million was up 5.5% from last January.
Borger received a payment of $448,315, which is around 1.5% higher than January 2023.
