Mathew Eleazar Ramirez, 11, of Perryton, Texas, passed away on June 15, 2023 in Perryton.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.
Matthew was born on Oct. 26, 2011, in Perryton, to Diego Emmanuel Ramirez Jimenez and Concepcion Arianna Munoz. He loved soccer, going to McDonald’s, loved anything to do with technology, playing video games and playing with friends.
He had friends of all ages, and his best friends were Adrian and Andres Vargas. They have been best friends for most of their lives. He liked making his cousin Axel mad! He was always laughing and smiling, and he helped anyone he could. He loved building things, and he built and fixed anything he could think of.
Mathew was preceded in death by his grandmother, Catalina Guerrero and his grandfather, Jose Luis Ramirez Matthew is survived by his parents, Diego Emmanuel Ramirez Jimenez and Concepcion Arianna Munoz, and his step-dad, Martin Ruiz; his brother, Byron Ramirez of the home; three uncles, Marco Munoz and wife Veronica, Victor Munoz and Tommy, and Diego Munoz; five aunts, Alva Munoz and husband Adrian, Aura Munoz and husband Israel, Diana Ramirez, Alejandra Ramirez, and Hortencia Navarrete; maternal grandfather, Lorenzo Munoz; one grandmother, Maria Delia Jimenez; and 13 cousins, Brisa Arujo, Axel Arujo, Marco Munoz, Jr., Miguel Munoz, Alexandra Munoz, Victor Munoz, Jr., Uri Munoz, Ricky Munoz, Abraham Elias, Kathy Munoz, Kevin Ramirez, Alison Ramirez and Gabriela Ramirez.
