The Perryton School Board hired a new athletic director, as well as several new staff, during a special meeting May 25.
Cole Underwood, a Perryton High School graduate, was named the new athletic director and head football coach.
He replaces Kurt Haberthur, who has taken a similar position at Gruver.
Scott Renken was also hired as head boys basketball coach. He will also teach PE.
