Jerral Allred, 85, of Perryton, passed away on Jan. 31, 2023.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 3, 2023 at Ochiltree Cemetery with Deacon Sergio Estrada officiating.
A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Deacon Sergio Estrada officiating.
Viewing/visitation will be Wednesday, Feb.1, and Thursday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Jerral Lee Allred was born Feb. 3, 1937 in Nocona, Texas to Wayne Fisher and Mary Elizabeth (Powell) Allred. He married Kathryn Hurter on March 28, 1958 in Spearman. They made their home in Perryton and raised four children.
He loved his wife and family above everything. He loved following the kids and grandkids in all their sporting activities. He was an avid Perryton Rangers fan. He was Chairman of the committee that raised money and oversaw the construction of the Perryton YMCA, now known as the Perryton Activity Center.
In his latter years, one of his passions was to help in many ways on the upkeep and maintenance of the Ochiltree County Senior Citizens Center. Jerral was a hard worker, starting at the young age of 10 and not retiring until ten years ago. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and mowing.
Jerral was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Nathan Allred and Carl Allred; sisters Mary Wayne and Doris; grandson, Mason Lee Davis; and granddaugh-ter, Aubry Allred.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; sons, Perry (Daryla) Allred of Perryton, Keith (Lori) Allred of Colorado Springs, CO, and Clint (Chandra) Allred of Perryton; daughter, Amy Allred of Amarillo; granddaughter, Emily Allred and her son, Kason; grandson Tate (Kyla) Allred and their children, Elizabeth and River; granddaughter, Jordan (Bruno) Nicoletti; grandson, Zach Allred; granddaughter, Alexandra Allred and her daughter, Olivia Odom; granddaughter, Hannah Allred; granddaughter, MacKenzie Allred; grandson, Hadley Allred; granddaughter, Kilee (Yancy) Malloy and their son, Brylon; and granddaughter, Claire (Logan) LaMunyon; sister, Clora Jean Nelson of Perryton; and brother, Adran Allred of Burnett.
