Ronald F. Mick, 79, of Perryton, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2022.
Funeral services were held Mnday, Jan. 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Wes Stevens officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Ronald was born July 5, 1943 in Kimball, NE to Frank and Mary (Thummel) Mick. He entered the Navy on Jan. 31, 1964, where he served for four years and was stationed in Vietnam for one year.
He married Loretta Shelton on Feb. 20, 1993. After the Navy, he worked as an electrical designer with Xcel Energy for over 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Mick; daughter, Angela Mick; granddaughter, Ashley Cummings; sisters, Marilee Cramer and Marlene O’Connor; and brothers, Richard Mick, John Mick and David Mick.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta, of the home; daughters, Buffy Haden and husband, Chris, of Amarillo, Audrey Younger and husband, Mathew of Spearman, and Jenny Barnes and husband, Tucker, of Perryton; sister, Margaret Strouse and husband, Charlie of Ellsworth, KS; six grandchildren, Zachary Haden, Brinley Haden, Payton Younger, Charlie Younger, Preston Younger and Bailee Barnes (David Chavlovich); brothers-in-law, Darrell Cramer and Roger Brown; sisters-in-law, Carol Mick and Willetta Brown; and mother-in-law, Peggy Shelton.
