A man arrested for arson after a suspicious house fire in July that resulted in the death of a child has now been charged with capital murder.
On Sept. 30, the Perryton Police Department served a warrant on Humberto Martinez, 39, for capital murder of a person under 10 years of age.
Martinez was being held in the Ochiltree County Jail on an additional warrant for felony arson.
