The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday morning at the Ochiltree County Courthouse.
The commissioners set the 2022-23 proposed property tax rate for the county at 59.6698 cents per $100 valuation, which includes the maintenance and operations rate of 55.4516 cents and an interest and sinking rate of 4.2182 cents.
Last year’s tax rate was 75.7732 cents per $100 valuation.
