Mary Charlotte Pearson , 83, of Spearman, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 2,2022.
Graveside services were held Friday, Aug. 5, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Ochiltree County Cemetery with John Scott, pastor, and Byron Potter, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
She was born on Nov. 16, 1938, in Dallas, to Charles and Grace Pyles. On July 25, 1959. Charlotte wed Daniel Brown Pearson in Perryton, and were blessed with 63 years of marriage.
Charlotte, known as “Granma” by those who loved her most, was sharpwitted, crafty, and fiercely devoted to her family, who were her pride and joy. An avid bridge player, she had a special bond with the ladies with which she played.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Grace Pyles, her sister Martha Good, and granddaughter Georgia Grace Pearson.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Pearson of Spearman; her sons (also of Spearman), Mark Pearson and wife, Anne Marie, and Mike Pearson and wife, Sandi. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Carson Pearson and wife, Allison; Calli Wilkerson and husband, Jack; Charles Pearson, and Mary Ellen Pearson, all of Spearman, as well as four great-grandchildren, Suede, Mesa and Briar Pearson, and Olivia Wilkerson.
