Wanda Louise Fricks Adamson, 79,formerly of Perryton, was taken home to her Lord on Dec. 6, 2021 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.
A memorial graveside service will be held May 14, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Wanda was born in Fort Worth, to Harmon and Louise (Williams) Fricks on Aug. 9, 1942. She married John Richard Adamson Aug. 12, 1960. Wanda was a caring and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a superb parent, homemaker, cook, baker, gardener and enjoyed making all kinds of excellent crafts. Wanda’s church, Full Gospel, in Perryton, blessed her life. She was a CASA member and a foster parent.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie Gibson and husband Milton; son, John David Adamson and wife Stacy; and brother, Bruce Fricks and wife Sandy. She is also survived by grandchildren, Calli Brown and husband Dustin, and Riley Adamson: one great-grandchild, Presley; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Fricks; husband, John; and infant daughter, Baby Adamson.
