Myrtle Jean Sharp, 89, of Perryton died May 4, 2022 in Sherman.
Services were held Saturday, May 7, at 1 p.m. at Harvest Time Assembly of God Church. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 30, 1933 in Colony, OK. She grew up in Colony, and attended Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK. She married Charles Sharp on Feb. 2, 1950 in Elk City, OK. She worked for GTE before opening Sharp’s Gun and Pawn Shop with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; an infant son, Corwin Brent; her parents, Jack and Opal (Denham) Cope; and three brothers, Dwain, John and Dale.
She is survived by two sons, Chuck Sharp of Perryton and Kent Sharp of Sherman; one daughter, Rhonda Twilligear of Odessa; three sisters, Colene, Betty and Shirley; and six grandchildren.
