Marion Coleman Chandler, 90, longtime Perryton resident, passed away Saturday morning, April 23, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
The son of Joseph Marion and Sula Ellen (Ridenour) Chandler, he was born August 14, 1931 in Wilson, OK. Coleman and June White were married on September 15, 1951.
Coleman was a carpenter, building many homes in Perryton and the surrounding area; woodworking was his hobby. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Survivors include his wife, June of the home, three children, Linda Nixon and husband, Mike of Perryton, Steve Chandler and wife, Debbie of Conway, AR, and Stan Chandler of Perryton. Survivors also include four grandchildren, Mikelle Nixon of Perryton, Brittanie Chandler of Perryton, Cole Chandler of Frisco, and Logan Chandler of Conway, AR; two great-grandchildren, Dalan Chandler of Perryton, and Jaxon Chandler of Frisco; and one brother, J. Chandler of Blanchard, OK.
Private family interment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
