Dortha Ernestene “Teeny” Jines McGaugh, 78, of Sunray, died Feb. 19, 2022 in Amarillo.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Chapel in Perryton. Burial will follow at the Jines Ranch Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born April 22, 1943 in Perryton, and married Dick McGaugh on Aug. 16, 1962.
She was the president of the Senior Citizens Club of Sunray and a long-time member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She also worked for Kerr-McGee for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley (J.W.) and Dortha Mae (Mason) Jines; and one brother, Wes Jines.
She is survived by one daughter, Dortha Annette McGaugh Rollins of Sunray; two sons, Shane Edward McGaugh of Sunray and Douglas Virgil McGaugh of Dalhart; one brother, Bill Jines of Cassville, MO; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace, Amarillo TX 79106; the Sunray Senior Citizens Center, 901 B Ave. J, Sunray, TX 79086; or one’s favorite charity.
