Theresa Mae Castlebury Landers, 79, of Tulsa, OK, formerly of Perryton, died Feb. 11, 2021 in Tulsa. No services are planned at this time.
She was born Oct. 16, 1941 in Amarillo, and the family moved to Perryton in 1949. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1960, and attended Frank Phillips Junior College. She married Jerry Landers in Borger in 1963. The Landers lived all over the world following Jerry’s work before retiring in Tulsa in 1990.
She worked as a secretary and was an active volunteer in many Tulsa community activities, including Habitat for Humanity, community policing, the Route 66 revitalization program, city parks improvements and mentoring elementary student reading programs.
She is survived by two sons, Greg Landers and Sam Landers, both of Tulsa; three brothers, Glen Castlebury and Lee Manross, both of Austin and Kenneth Castlebury of Tomball; one sister, Clova Linda Abrahamson of Bartlesville, OK; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
