Rites held for Llamas

Norma Angelica Llamas, 60, of Perryton, died March 6, 2021 in Amarillo.

Funeral mass was held Tuesday, March 9, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Cezar Gomez officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

She was born May 5, 1960 in Mexico City, Mexico, and married Jorge Llamas Sept. 27, 1981 in Mexico City. They moved to Perryton in 1989 from Mexico City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Manuel Estrada and Cruz Garcia.

She is survived by her husband, Jorge, of the home; three sons, Jorge Manuel Llamas of Mexico, and Jose Arturo Llamas and Ricardo Gonzalez, both of Perryton; one daughter, Norma Angelica Llamas Roybal of Perryton; six brothers, Victor Estrada and Gerardo Estrada, both of Mexico, Alvarado Estrada, Roberto Estrada and Victor Estrada, all of San Antonio and Hector Diaz of Spearman; six sisters, Guadalupe Estrada of Mexico, Maribel Estrada of Kansas, Ariana Rosa Estrada and Ana Estrada, both of San Antonio, and Bertha Ortiz and Aracely Camacho, both of Spearman; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society of one’s favorite charity.
