SEABOARD DONATES TO PISD—Seaboard Foods has made a $2,500 donation to the Perryton ISD. According to Seaboard representative Miriam Olivas, “In previous years, Seaboard has bought out a football game. However, due to COVID-19 that didn’t happen this year.” So instead, the company donated the money to the school district to be used as needed. Superintendent James Mireles and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Maria Gomez-Rocque received the donation on behalf of the district. “We appreciate to donation and will find a good way to put it to use” Mireles said. Perryton ISD and Seaboard are exploring other ways to work together and may have additional announcements in the near future.
