Herman Gallegos, 71, of Perryton passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020. A private family service is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 11, 2020.
The funeral home will be open for viewing/visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, Dec 10, from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited.
Herman was born Sept. 21, 1949 in Rocky Ford, CO to Reyes and Bernice (Martinez) Gallegos. He married Felipa Diaz on Sept. 21, 1974 in Perryton. He worked in the oilfield around the area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Felipa, of the home; one daughter, Connie Diaz of Perryton; three granddaughters, Ashley Ceniceros and husband, Marco; Samantha Robicheaux and fiance, Brandon, Tiffany Gomez and husband, Hector; and five great-grandchildren, Amani, Ashyia, Aviya, Brooklyn, and Brantley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
