Rita Catherine Sell, 84, of Perryton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Perryton with Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will follow at Heart Cemetery in Booker. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Due to COVID 19

Rita was born on Dec. 8, 1935 to Edgar and Martha Watkins in Rising Star. She married Richard Sell on July 6, 1956. Their first years were spent in Hawaii, where Richard was stationed as a Marine pilot. The rest of their lives were spent together farming and ranching in the Booker and Perryton area. Richard preceded her in death in 2002. She was known far and wide for her homemade bread, and she was an active member and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church, Perryton.
Survivors include her four sons, David and Sandra Sell of Booker; Kerry and Shirley Sell of Birch Bay, WA; Tom and Amy Sell of Broken Arrow, OK; and Matt and Shannon Sell of Denham Springs, LA; 15 grandchildren, Jonathan Sell and wife Caitlin, Mark Sell, Elizabeth Hardcastle and husband Kevin, Rebekah Sell, Daniel Sell, Stephen Sell, Hannah Sell, Joseph Sell, Katharine Sell, Kevin Sell, Connor Sell, Ben Sell, Emily Sell, Annie Sell, and Catie Sell; four great-grandchildren Joshua Sell, Benjamin Hardcastle, Evan Hardcastle and Owen Harcastle; and one brother, Johnny Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Martha Watkins; her husband, Richard Sell; and five siblings.
