Terrazas rites set

Antelmo Terrazas Estrada, 75, of Perryton died Aug. 25, 2020.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 30 from 1-9 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 31, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing will be practiced and occupancy numbers will be limited. Services will be broadcast live on Boxwell Brothers Facebook page. There is a link to the page at boxwellbros.com.

He was born March 27, 1945 in Santa Isabel, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a farmer in Mexico and migrated to the United States in 1968. He returned to Mexico and migrated to California in 1971, where he worked in a factory and for a construction company.

He moved to Perryton in 1981. He worked on a pipeline, then worked for the City of Perryton. After retirement, he worked at Seaboard Farms and the Ambassador Inn. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and belonged to Grupo De La Divina Misericordia. He became a U.S. citizen in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Consuelo Terrazas; and one brother, Abel Terrazas.

He is survived by two daughters, Elvia Rascon and Aracely Gallegos, both of Perryton; three sons, Alfonso Terrazas of Houston, Alfredo Terrazas of Canyon and Uriel Terrazas of Perryton; and 12 grandchildren.
