LUNCHTIME ON THE FOURTH Locals who turned out for the Fourth of July celebration at Leatherman Park got to enjoy lots of activities, contests, fireworks, and much more. And whenever they needed some fuel to keep themselves going, there were plenty of food trucks on hand to serve up lunch, snacks, or a cold drink. The City of Perryton had some good news this month. Its sales tax payment for July of $256,346 was almost 4% higher than last July.
For the year so far, the city has received $1.76 million, slightly less, 1.7%, from last year’s payments Around the area, most of the cities notched a decrease, with a handful seeing increased.
