Perryton residents got treated to a special program by Amarillo’s Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at the Museum of the Plains. Volunteers at the center spoke to a roomful of kids, parents, and animal lovers about the work the center does caring for injured animals before releasing them back into the wild. They also brought a number of tame ambassador animals, including an opossum, a skunk, a Texas tortoise, and a corn snake.
