Lillian Born
Lillian Mae Born, 91, of Follett, died Dec. 26, 2025.
Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 31, at St. John Congregational Church in Follett with Dwain Read officiating. Burial was in Darrouzett Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.
She was born May 30, 1934 in Kansas, and married Harry Born May 21, 1950 in Bazine, KS. They lived in several places until moving to Lipscomb County.
She was a member of St. John Congregational Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; one son, Darrell Born; her parents, John and Lydia Gumescheimer; two brothers, Vernon Gumescheimer and Clarence Gumescheimer; and three great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Stanley Born of Darrouzett, Lynn Born of Follett and James Born of Perryton; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Ochiltree General Hospital Hospice Volunteers, 3101 Garrett Drive, Perryton.
