City’s sales tax payments end the year up 2%

Although the December sales tax payment was down, the City of Perryton still ended 2025 on a positive note.

The city’s December payment was $245,342, down close to 8% from last December.

But for the year, its total payments of $3.08 million were up were up almost 2% from 2024.

Around the area, most cities saw an increase in their December payments.
