Rites set for Ogilvie

Oleta Marie Ogilvie, 82, of Perryton died Sept. 19, 2025 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. at the Booker Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

She was born April 4, 1943 in Perryton, and graduated from Booker High School in 1961. She married Terry Ogilvie on March 10, 1961. He died in 1998.

She worked several jobs before moving back to Booker in 1973. She sold Avon for over 50 years, and was the outside salesperson for Perryton Office Supply. After retiring from the office supply, she worked parttime at Edward Jones She was a member of Booker Christian Church, Panhandle Professional Women and Rushing Wind Walk to Emmaus. She also helped with the Meals on Wheels program in Booker. She was a resident of Capstone Healthcare.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; one son, Kelly; and her parents, Loren and Mary Hibbs Fausset.

She is survived by one daughter, Annette Howard, of Perryton; one sister, Karen Beersman of Springfield, MO; and two brothers, Gordon Fausset of Richmond and Keith Fausset of Minneola, KS.
