Jennifer “Jenny” Elizabeth Burger 52, of Perryton, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Amarillo.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March, 21, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at New Hope Fellowship Church in Perryton, officiated by Rev. Bob Humphrey. Burial will follow in Ochiltree County Cemetery in Perryton. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.
Jenny was born on January 11, 1973, to Richard and Beverly Burger in Perryton. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1991 and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in education at McPherson College in 1995. Jenny was a science educator, teaching at Perryton, Canyon, an educator at the Don Harrington Discovery Center in Amarillo, and at Sanford Fritch High School for the last 20 years.
Jenny is survived by her mother, Beverly Burger of Perryton; two sisters, Cindy Goss and husband Trent of Alva, OK, Susan Brisendine and husband Brian of Brownfield; six nieces and nephews, Avery Goss, Graham Goss, Quinn Goss, Thomas and Gabby Brisendine, Blake Brisendine, Madilynn Brisendine; and one great-nephew Franklynn Brisendine.
