Cleo Faye Crum, 100, of Perryton, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in Canadian,.

Viewing will be Friday, February 7, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday morning, February 8, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton. A family visitation will be held Friday evening, February 7, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery, with Rev. Gene Weinette officiating.

Cleo was born on December 11, 1924 in Canadian, to Fred Turner and Elsie Kelln Turner. She was a lifetime resident of the Panhandle. She married her husband, Grover Crum, on September 15, 1943 in Perryton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Perryton.

She owned a grocery and dry goods store in Darrouzett, and she also farmed and ranched. She loved to travel and play bridge. She belonged to the Senior Citizen Center and also to the Jennie June Club.

Cleo is survived by two daughters, Nancy Weinette of Booker, and Connie Gillespie and husband Darrel of Southfork, Colorado; one son, Mike Crum and wife Kathy of Raydon, Oklahoma; six grandsons, Michael Weinette, Gene Weinette, Kelly Weinette, Cory Gillespie, Tye Gillespie, and Matthew Crum; four granddaughters, Wendy Lawrence, Alicia Cook, Christy Escandon, andAngie Evans; 20 greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grover Crum; three brothers, Gary Crum, Bob Turner and Kenneth Turner.

The family requests memorials be to Mesa View Nursing Home, 106 Teas Circle, Canadian, Texas, 79014; Mesa View Nursing Home Hospice; or one’s favorite charity.
