Scott Glass

ScottGlass,43,ofPerryton, passed away on October 20, 2024 in Amarillo.

A funeral service for family and friends of Scott’s was held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2024 at First Methodist Church in Perryton. A public funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2024 at the Community Worship Center in Perryton, followed by burial in Ochiltree Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers FuneralHome,Inc. of Perryton.

Scott was born on November 10, 1980 in Shamrock, to Bob Glass and Janet Braden Glass. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Perryton, and he married his wife, Melissa Love Glass, in Perryton on December 13, 2008.

He served as a fire-fighter in the Perryton Fire Department for 17 years as the Assistant Fire Chief, and he was a paramedic in Perryton, also. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army, and he was an organ donor, who through his death is selflessly giving the gift of life to many others.

Scott is survived by his wife, Melissa, of Perryton; one son, Braden Glass, and one daughter, Sarah Glass, both of Perryton; his parents, Bob and Janet Glass of McLean; one brother, Andy Glass and wife Kristi, of McLean; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by one daughter, Emily Glass.
