Mary Wyman-Stabel, 94, of Perryton, died Sept. 30, 2024.
Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1930 in Gallatin County, IL. She married Chelsea Allison on Sept. 14, 1946 in Morgan Field, KY, then married Ray Wyman Dec. 15, 1956. Later she married Art Stabel April 23, 1989.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she started the handbell choir and was a member of the church choir. She was also involved with Musical Moments music club.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Chelsea Allison, Ray Wyman and Art Stabel; her parents, Clarence Mills and Melvina Cox Mills; four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Brian Wyman of Brocton, NY; one daughter, Denise McCartney of Perryton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1272, Perryton, or one’s favorite charity.
