Georgia Faye McGarraugh, 80, of Perryton, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in Amarillo.

She was born Georgia Faye Giles on August 17, 1944, to Edgar Roy Giles and Mildred Faye Kibby Giles in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
She grew up on the family farm in the Yeager comsistermunity and often told stories about farm life and her adventures there with her three brothers, Gene, Steve and Paul.
Georgia attended school at Pecan Grove and, after moving to Texas in the 1950s, graduated from Perryton High School in 1963.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Roy Giles and Mildred Faye Rhodes; two brothers, Edgar Eugene “Gene” Giles and Jess Paul Giles; her husband, Ed Allen; and her exhusband, Cliff McGarraugh.
She is survived by her three sons, Kim Clenney (and his wife, Deborah), Kelly Clenney, and CodyAllen (and his wife, Jennifer). Georgia is also survived by her grandchildren: Courtney and Morgan Clenney; Daniel and Champe Clenney; Madison, Callie and Colton Allen, along with her brother Steve Giles (and his wife, Jan), her in-law Carol Giles and nephews Shawn Giles, Cole Giles and Chadd Giles.
Georgia enjoyed many hobbies, including music, gardening, quilting, needlepoint, reading, antiquing, travel and various other activities. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of theAmerican Revolution. Georgia loved animals, especially her beloved late dogs, Teddi and Teddi Bear, and her cats, Sambo and Patches.
Special thanks to her sister-in-law Carol Giles, her nephew Shawn Giles, and Penny Juarez for the many visits and care they provided for her over the past few years.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Perryton Satellite Center, Senior Village, the Ranger Academic Enrichment Foundation, or one’s favorite charity.
