Agnes Marie Norwood, 96, formerly of Perryton, died April 19, 2024 at Harbor Chase in McKinney.
A gravesite interment will be held Friday, June 28, at 11 a.m. in Ochiltree Cemetery.
She was born April 16, 1928 in Sharon, KS, and married Floyd Norwood on June 6, 1955 in Sharon. They lived in Kansas and Nebraska before moving to Liberal, KS. They owned a small restaurant for 11 years, then worked in the oilfield service industry. Her husband died in 1990. She moved to McKinney in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, John and Mary (Nuessen) Burenheide; two brothers, Lawrence Burenheide and Edgar Burenheide; and four sisters, Martha Nelson, Elizabeth Blurton, Mary Parks and Leona Blurton.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Norwood of Colorado Springs, CO and Roger Norwood of McKinney; and four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
